For the last couple of days I headed over to the town of Harwich, it’s a little seaside destination with a difference as it’s directly next to a port so you can sit and watch huge ships come and go. The area I stayed in was quirky yet quiet and seemed to just be relaxed and apart from the odd ice cream stall there was hardly a hint of touristy attractions which I loved. This meant you could just ramble from the Hotel down to the beach huts and hardly pass anyone apart from the odd local or two.

Our room was in prime location to view the beautiful sunset of that evening, I will be writing up a review of the Hotel very soon so keep your eyes peeled.
Day two:
After checking out (we only stayed one night) we headed down to the long stretch of beach, the weather was still so hot that people were out swimming and paddling. Considering it’s still very much summertime I was amazed at how deserted parts of the beach were, we had one of the sections all to ourself for a couple of hours until we headed off for lunch.
