Recently I was sent a beautiful dress by AX Paris to feature in an outfit post, the dress has a cut out crochet detail on the waist and a lovely vintage floral pattern design. I have to say that the dress has become a firm favourite of mine for this Summer and I love how well the size fits due to being elasticated. I can't get enough of short dresses with high necks also so for all of the above reasons this dress is an absolute winner in my book.
AX Paris have kindly sent over another version of the dress for me to hold a giveaway with. Don't worry it's not the one I've been wearing and comes wrapped in the original packaging with tags and is a size 10-12.I know that not all of you will be this size so I apologise about that however I know that it will be the most common size amongst you all.
For our final day in Paris we only had a couple of hours in the afternoon before we had to catch the Eurostar back to London so we tried to fit as much in as possible. We made a trip to the latin quarter which is packed full of quirky cafes and restaurants and then had a stroll along the river and eyed up the Notre Dame. To end our time in Paris with a smile we did a bit of last minute shopping and stocked up on french skincare products (post here), some Ladurée macaroons and I finally got round to buying myself a pair of American Apparel Disco Pants. All in all a fabulous trip which I will never forget.
Here are the photos from my second day in Paris, which was also my eighteenth birthday. I started the day with a breakfast that we got from a bakery around the corner and then opened my presents and headed out to spend my birthday money. First stop was Sephora (why don't we have these in England!) then I went along to buy some skincare products from French pharmacies and came back to the hotel to a surprise birthday cake and bottle of champagne! My cake was beyond delicious and included fresh strawberries, sponge cake, vanilla cream and topped with an apricot glaze and sugar flowers. To end the day we wandered over to the Eiffel Tower which was just a short walk from our hotel and on our way back had a beautiful Italian meal.
If you follow me on twitter then you will know that I've spent the past few days in Paris celebrating my 18th birthday. I had a truly amazing time and made the most of my time by dining on delicious food, doing plenty of shopping and site seeing. I have tons of pictures so thought I'd split them between a couple of posts. On the first day we arrived in Paris at around 4pm so just had a wander around near our hotel and went for some food and did some browsing of the fruit stalls. We also bought some amazing lollipops that came in all different flavours such as passion fruit, peach, apricot and strawberry.
